I am trying to contact any of the friends I went to school with at Sandusky. If you know any of the students I have mentioned in my earlier post please let me know. I really want to connect with them, this was a bright spot in my life at the time. I really want to see them again. |

My bus driver was Mr. Bruner. he was a great person in my life and I will never forget the kindness he showed to me as a child. I loved riding the bus with him, he used to let me turn on the stop signal on the bus. I would stand beside him and I thought I was really doing something. He was a wonderful person. |

I have many fond memories of friends at Sandusky back 1962-63 up to 1967 when my parents divorced and my mother moved back to Kentucky. I attended Sandusky in 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades. I had Miss Boyer, Mrs. Tumilty, and Mr. Harvey. Mr. Jenkins was the principal. I look at the photos on here and I remember the doors in the back, the water fountain, the playground equipment is the same as when I went. Many of my classmates were Kenneth Miller, Kirk Demoss, Cheryl Becraft, Nancy Korman, Jill Swango, Cynthia Bowman, David Brown, Dennis Graham, Colinda Shonk...these are the ones I can remember

I can remember my uncle "Jim Shonk" going to school there..his son said he graduated in 1958..saw a photo that looks like he was in that class, but wondering about his age in the photo. I think he was also on a baskeball team but not sure of the year. |
